History

After not being able to run our event in its full format for 2020 & 2021 due to the pandemic, we are beyond excited see the BCAC in all its glory for 2022!

In the past

For the last 22 years the BCAC has been a major part of the UK Competition Calendar and in that time the event has helped make the angling careers of many well known names whilst at the same time providing an excellent launch pad for those who have now become household names (well at least in the world of Carp Fishing)!

We are very proud of our event and equally pleased that over the past 22 years we have such a great deal of history and stories behind us.

2021 Event

Due to Covid-19 we were unable to run our event in its normal format, and although that was dissapointing, it did allow us to do something different and create new Championship Titles for the BCAC that we hope to continue! We held 4 “one-off” Championships, a Ladies Pairs, a Mixed Pairs & a Singles competition. We also held, what we called, the BCAC Sheild! This was run on two lakes over two weekends with the pairs changing lakes on the second weekend, it was also won on a points based system and proved to be an extremely nail biting end!

They say a picture paints a thousand words, so here are some of our favourite pictures from across the years.
